Eve is confined to a 16th century cottage, her hours and minutes controlled by an old fashioned alarm clock. Her isolation is broken as signs of life travel through from the room next door. The two begin to communicate as Eve slowly lets down her guard, their timid relationship developing instantly to the lifeline they've both been searching for.
